Scavenging: the June list

Here it is:

This month I am more or less on time, but watch out, there are some dodgy shots in there!

The cutlery may as well be invisible (I was so delighted I even got the sign in shot at 60mph  it was almost embarrassing), the sheep is the best of 4 shots I took as we drove past it over the past couple of weeks (out of focus as I had to zoom in AND crop the pic for a hope of it being recognisable) and as a cheese lover I am ashamed that the best I could do was cheddar on a pimped up shop bought pizza.

But, it is done and dusted and I'm looking forward to the next one. And determined to do better. One of the points of this was to learn to use the SLR better and I'm not really demonstrating my skills!

  1. I like your picture for 'Z'! Good thinking on the cutlery.

I find I start the month with good intentions but times goes so quickly, suddenly it's nearing the end of the month and I still have 10 photos to get! I always say I'll try to be more organised next month, but never am!

  4. I like the photo for Z, too! Also the view from your door and nightime. The elephant on the village sign is interesting. Quite like the topics for July:)

  8. Great try at the photos.

I always begin well but end up still needing quite a few photos just before the end of the month. The months seem to go by too quickly!

  9. I need to learn to use my SLR more effectively too! I do rely heavily on the auto setting - lazy me!

  11. Yeah, E for Elephant but the barrel is a "tun" - which is somehow both inventive and dull at the same time. It would be cooler if it represented the time the travelling circus came by just as the brewery dray was unloading at the pub...
